David Maddock

David Rokeby Maddock was Bishop of Dunwich from 1967[1] to 1976.

He was born on 30 May 1915 [2] and educated at Clifton and St Catherine's College, Oxford. After ordination he was a Curate at Chard[3] and then Vicar of Wilton before 14 years as Rector of Wareham[4] and finally (before ordination to the episcopate) Archdeacon of Sherborne. He died on 14 August 1984.[5]
